Production Rate: Up to 200 masks/minute
Mask Construction: 3-Ply, elastic ear loop with adjustable nose piece
Mask Dimensions: 182mm x 95mm (7.2” x 3.75”)
Number of Pleats: 3
Mask Type: ASTM Levels 1, 2, 3, depending on raw materials used and environment masks are produced in
Masks constructed on the fully automatic flat mask machine uses a nonwoven spun-bonded polypropylene outer layer material, a high-quality melt-blown polypropylene filter media, and a non-woven spun-bonded inner layer. The three layers are combined, pleated, a nose piece automatically introduced and ultrasonically welded on 4 sides to create a finished mask blank. The ultrasonic welders are used to bond the 3-layers together in the long direction, as well as bonding the short sides prior to the cut-off process. Once the individual mask blanks have been made, they are transferred individually in 2 streams to the automated ear loop attachment stations. These stations continuously feed ear loop material into the system and ultrasonically weld elastic ear loop strings on both sides of the mask. Completed masks exit and are stacked in programmable counts to be transferred to a packaging station.
